Monoplane by G.A.Diakov

Young military officer from Kutaisi (Georgia) build aircraft of his own design in 1912. Aircraft had strong and at the same time extremely simple construction. Pilot seated on fuselage like on the bicycle (bicycle seat was used!). Powered by 7.5hp motorcycle engine, aircraft was unable to takeoff.

Fact of aircraft construction by G.A.Diakov helped him to join Sevastopol flight school. He graduated successfully and became a military pilot.
