Single-seat
trainer, transitional to fighter. Trials started in
1941
at NII VVS.
G-28 was flown by M.M.Gromov, A.B.Yumashev and
P.M.Stefanovskij. When the
War broke off,
aircraft was evacuated together with NII
VVS, and eventually abandoned.
Judgment of the War time took it tall over this good trainer project.
