Development of the highly reliable and flexible Ka-26/Ka-126 family. Powered with two Rolls Royce Aerospace Group Allison 250-C20B engines. Fitted with new rotors and Allied Signal Aerospace avionics, this aircraft has the highest efficiency among light helicopters.
As well as predecessor, it is provided with number of custom snap-on loads, including passenger compartment, cargo container, crop duster gear.
Ground trials took place on March 6, 2000 at 'Strela' Industrial Complex (Orenburg).
